Our Guru’s Legacy is an initiative to accomplish Paramhansa Yogananda’s spiritual legacy. Paramhansa Yogananda showed how all can realize the presence of God in their daily lives as a tangible, loving reality. Ananda Sangha India, founded in 2003 by Yogananda’s direct disciple, Swami Kriyananda, shares the ancient and practical teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda across many cities in India, touching and uplifting thousands of lives.

3. What is Paramhansa Yogananda’s spiritual legacy?


The teachings of kriya yoga, welfare & brotherhood communities, books and education for children is Paramhansa Yogananda’s legacy.
Our Guru’s legacy will be expressed in many ways — through Ananda communities, new Teaching centers and Meditation groups throughout India, Online and Home Study Sangha’s, Master's writings and Swami Kriyananda's 150 books on Master's teachings and 400 music compositions, Education for Life, Living Wisdom Schools and support for orphanages, widow and other welfare programs.

5. What is a corpus fund and why do we need it?

A Corpus Fund is a pooled fund of money (or gifted property), the principal of which is used to help the organization to further the work for generations to come. From the investment of this fund, a part of the returns is utilized by the organization to fulfill various objectives which are in line with the organization's vision, and the remaining part is kept in the principal to ensure that the value of your gift grows over the years.

"Our Guru's Legacy" has been set up with the objective to create a long-term financial resource pool which will enable Ananda Sangha to fulfil its charitable mission in India through the spread of the teachings and ideals of Paramhansa Yogananda, and his direct disciple, Swami Kriyananda.

Your "gift" will be working now and long into the future to spread Master's legacy across India.
