The Chakras are the energy centers that exist within us. They hold the key for increased mental and emotional health and well-being. Each of the Chakras have specific qualities which we can experience through meditation and introspection practices.
In this retreat, we will use Paramhansa Yogananda’s teachings on the chakras to help us understand and experience our inner energy through the use of meditation, yoga, music and color. It will be a beautiful experiential weekend, both for the mind and the heart!

Flow of the Retreat
Friday, 3rd April
- 7:30 pm: Orientation & Introduction
Saturday, 4th April
- 7:00 am – Meditation
- 10:30 am – 12:30 pm: Class 1 – Exploring the Muladhara, Swadistana and Manipura
- (theory, colors, sounds, meditations)
- 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm: Class 2 – Understanding the Anahata, Vishuddha and Ajna Chakra
- (theory, colors, sounds, meditations)
- 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm: Ananda Yoga + Meditation
- 9:00 pm: 30 mins of chanting (Mini Chakras Kirtan)
Sunday, 5th April
- 7 am: Yoga Stretches and Meditation
- 10:00 am – 11:00 am: Inspirational Satsang – “Tools to Keep the Spine Energized”
- 11:30 am: Art Session: Creativity with the Chakras + followed by conclusion

Meet the Instructor:
Vibha Agarwal
Vibha Agrawal is an experienced teacher and kriya yoga practitioner with Ananda Sangha India who has been sharing the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda since 2010. With a professional background in managing software companies in India for over three decades, she brings a practical approach to spiritual life and has served at various Ananda centers, including in Delhi, Gurgaon, Ahmedabad, Noida, and Singapore.
Bharat
Bharat Castelli has been with Ananda Sangha since 2010 and his main interests lie in sharing the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda. He has been in the Ananda Pune community for most of the time but also traveled across the worldwide Ananda Communities in USA and Italy and in many centers around India. He speaks through practical application of these deep teachings in his life and conveys a deep understanding of the teachings with a sense of wisdom. He also shares many classes on the impact that music has in uplifting our consciousness.
Shamini
Shamini has been with Ananda Sangha since 2012 and has lived and served in various centers around India. She is also a certified Ananda Yoga and Art instructor. She shares with clarity and joy, and helps people connect with the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda in ways that are easily grasped and understood. She deeply believes in the transforming power of these teachings which can help discover inner joy and enrich our lives.
