Goal of Life – 9/1/09

The goal of life is ever-existing, ever-conscious, ever-new bliss. The Bhagavad Gita shows the way to achieve that bliss.

Kriyananda introduces the Bhagavad Gita as one of the greatest scriptures ever written. The Bhagavad Gita is an allegory of the battle within ourselves between the forces of good and evil. It shows us the way to transcend delusion.

This talk is from passages and commentaries – Chapters 1 & 2 of Kriyananda’s book The Essence of the Bhagavad Gita: Explained by Paramhansa Yogananda – As Remembered by his Disciple Swami Kriyananda.
