Frequently asked questions

The chakras are wheels or centers of great energy within our body (more precisely our astral body). They have their physical counterpart as the nerve plexuses which travel thought our spine, the coccyx, sacral, lumbar, dorsal and cervical centers. When we become aware of these centers and we are able to energize them in the right way, it helps our spiritual life as well as it help us develop certain positive qualities within ourselves which will help us in our day to day life.

Chakras are not “blocked” per say but in most of us, there is a lot of energy flowing outward and downward instead of inward and upward. There arw many factors that keep our energy that way. What we need to do is purify our chakras, get rid of desires and karmas so that the energy may flow up more easily. But at all points, specially when we are calm, or we express some divine quality, there is some flow of energy in the chakras going up.

The best way is through meditation, in deep meditation, specially using a technique like Kriya Yoga, we can more easily revert the downward flow of energy in the chakras. There are many other tools, however, which we can use for when we are not meditating, or that will help strengthen our meditation. It is important to do so, however, in harmony with who we are and where we are at spiritually. We should by no means try to force our energy to go in one way or the other.

No if you do it in the right way. As we mentioned before, as long as you are working with techniques and teachings which don’t “impose” or “force” your energy to go a certain way, you will be fine. In this course we work with many thing that are simple and yet powerful. The main thing is that by working with them in a natural way, you will start to see changes in your day to day life, because you will start to develop divine qualities within yourself.
