Meditation is the best possible antidote to the excessive stress of modern life. Joy is within you, and meditation is the key to finding and making that joy a permanent part of your life.

Paramhansa Yogananda gave a number of “scientific” techniques of meditation – scientific, because you can test through your own daily practice. At Ananda we teach the technique that Paramhansa Yogananda called “one of India’s greatest gifts to the world” – Hong Sau, a technique that helps you develop inward concentration through the use of the breath and mantra. You will also learn how to sit comfortably for meditation and how to prepare the body and mind to relax more deeply. Even a little practice of this meditation can bring rewards of greater happiness, harmony, and success into your life.
